Percheron mare in harness

I go to the Clay County Fair in Spencer, Iowa every year. I find a lot of my material for new work there. They have hundreds of of horses to choose from and the one I call Grace was one of the most beautiful. Light plays a very important part of every painting and it was really nice in this one.
