A pair of Appaloosa mules in harness

I went to the spring horse sale in Waverly Iowa and took the picture for this painting. When the painting was complete I took it to a show in Wyoming. Would you believe that I met the man out there who had hauled them from the Waverly sale to Wyoming. He finally asked me where I had found them? When I told him, he slapped his leg and said, “I knew it, I hauled them same mules to Wyoming!” Go Figure.
