Being born and raised in the country means that I take much of country life for granted. Our lifestyle is much more relaxed. I don't even have to lock my car when I go to the gallery. I can take the time to appreciate the rust patterns on the old tractor or laugh at the chickens in the yard. Unfortunately our way of life is fast disappearing just like the old barns that are falling into total disrepair.

	All Things Shall Pass Away Rusty old Farmall H Thank God there is still a place for many of these old tractors. We are seeing more and more of them coming out all renewed and running like a top. The newest rage in Iowa is to take these old tractors on trail rides. What Fun!!!

	Child's Play Child playing in the sand This is my daughter but it could be anyone's child doing what children do the very best, play. At that moment, building a sand castle was the most important thing in her world.

	Country Line Dance Three Chickens doing a Line Dance you can imagin my surprise when I opened my package of photo's and saw this picture of the three chickens doing a line dance, of course I was going to paint it!

	Winter Coat Old barn in winter Old barns cause our minds to drift back to another time. A time of draft horses and cows and calves and kittens lined up for a drink of warm milk. Oh how the memories flow.
