This painting was pieced together from several photographs that I have taken through the years, and some of it is streight out of my imagination. The clouds were patterned after a sunny afternoon on the way home fron the studio. The landscape and cowboys came from Wyoming photo's, and the cattle belong to our neighbors. I have had the photo of the three riders for several years and have been going to paint it all along, but it needed more so I finally just went to work and gathered all I needed to put it together.
